Camilla Rae (she/her)
My journey into caregiving began at the age of two. I was a foster child intent on helping my 6-month old foster brother learn how to do it all (sit, stand, crawl, and explore solids). From that first seed being planted of nurturing I have dedicated my life to service and families. At the age of four, I was adopted into a loving (and overwhelmed) family of six. Through navigating the dynamics of a household with so many moving pieces I found my calling to help create balance and peace in all of the joyful chaos. At the age of 18 I took on my first postpartum doula client, a family welcoming triplets, and quickly learned the important value of community support during an intimate time of settling into new routines and rhythms.
I enjoy supporting families of all shapes and sizes, during all phases of the perinatal year. Enthusiastically I help parents manage the challenges of caring for a new baby by buttressing their inborn wisdom and ability with helpful tricks of the trade picked up over nearly two decades of experience and education. I am a compassionate, organized person who is comfortable holding space if parents need a sounding board or reassurance. My love for parenting, caregiving, and all-things-baby deepens with each expanding family I have the pleasure of assisting.
About Camilla
I am an experienced traveler, speak Spanish, and have visited more than 39 countries
My greatest adventure began in February of 2018, when I welcomed her first son, Maverick. His presence has been a welcome reminder to slow down and rediscover wonder. I welcomed my second son, Mackenzie, in April of 2022
I enjoy sewing, learning, and spending time with my family
Over the years I have been learning American Sign Language in hopes of one day being able to do ASL translation at concerts.

“We had the most wonderful experience working with our doula. Camilla is amazing! She is so supportive in a million ways and incredibly knowledgeable. When we first transitioned home with our twins from the NICU we were so overwhelmed and Camilla brought a much needed sense of calm into our home. After days of sleep deprivation with our newborns, she spent a night with us and it was the best gift ever. A full night of sleep felt like a dream come true to help us recharge.”
