Annie Scott
(she/Her)
I have always been captivated by pregnancy and birthing, and what these transformative experiences reveal about our selves and our world. Since I was young enough to watch over younger neighbors and siblings, being a helper to parents has been an important part of how I participate in my community.
Using these fascinations as a guiding star, I chose to pursue birth work and have been certified as a full-spectrum doula by Doula Training International since 2022. I also obtained my certification as an Oregon Traditional Health Worker in 2025.
I graduated from University of Portland with a degree in communication studies. This course of study has equipped me with both an evidence-based praxis and a mind for open communication and meaningful connection. I am forever a student of my clients and fellow birthworkers.

“Annie was an incredible support throughout my pregnancy and birth. She helped me gain the confidence I needed to have the unmedicated birth I hoped for, and was amazing during labor—coaching me through contractions and capturing beautiful photos I’ll treasure forever. After my baby was born, Annie continued to be there for me. She came over to talk through details of the birth and helped me work through some baby blues. I’m so grateful for her care and support!”
